PDN members awarded prizes at IFPA 2017

Nadejda Capatina, Hannah Yong and Joanna Rakoczy received prizes at the International Federation of Placenta Associations meeting in Manchester

Hannah Yong received a Harold Fox Investigator Award and both Nadejda Capatina and Joanna Rakoczy received a Y.W (Charlie) Loke New Investigator Award at the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA) meeting in Manchester.

All awardees are part of the Centre for Trophoblast Research.

The awards are technically travel awards based on abstract. The Y.W Loke award was given to around 40 new investigators out of approx. 150 new Investigator abstracts. The Harold Fox award is given to ten UK based new investigators. The prizes were awarded yesterday during the conference and also include 500 US dollars.
