Pre-Symposium Competitions

Have you captured any interesting and innovative research images? Share them with the department community, and stand a chance to win a prize!  

Rules: 

• Submit any image from your research work (Microscopy/ Western blotting/ Protein biochemistry etc.).   
• Please add a caption that best describes the image! 
• The image will be displayed on the electronic display boards across the department, and links to vote for a winning image will be circulated to the PDN community. Images will be shared for voting anonymously, with only the selected caption (chosen by the image owner) accompanying the image.

Take this opportunity to get creative! Represent your research in artistic form (painting, cartoon, poetry etc.), and send it to us to be in with a chance of winning a prize! 

Rules: 

• Any art form that represents your research at PDN. Please submit via email.
• Written submissions should be limited to five sentences or less 
• Any form of short poetry such as Haiku, Sijo etc., are welcome 
• Your work of art will be circulated anonymously via email amongst the PDN community for voting.

Do you have a photograph that represents your life at PDN? Share your images, showing the day to day (and more unusual!) of life as a member of the PDN community, and be in with a chance of winning a prize.

• The photograph can be of any part of the department and preferably without animate elements (No animal specimen or humans). 
• The image must include a caption that describes the photograph.
