SYNTAX
atob [options] [file]
DESCRIPTION
Read ascii numbers (one per line) from the input stream until eof. Write each number on the stdout in the given data type.
OPTIONS
1. type
The output data type, which may be one of the list: char, short, int, float, double, ascii.
Silent options for short, int and float are retained for compatibility with earlier versions. If used, these override the type option.
BUGS
When converting binary doubles or floats to ascii, and then back to binary, there will be some difference between the binary files because the ascii output is printed with limited precision.
