PDN has a dedicated Deputy Head of Teaching (Steve Edgley), as well as four dedicated Teaching Officers: Cecilia Brassett and Helen Taylor (Consultant Radiologist), are the University Clinical Anatomists; David Bainbridge is the University Clinical Veterinary Anatomist, and Matthew Mason is the University Physiologist. Between them they organise courses and deliver over 600 hours of classroom teaching, as well as carrying out research, writing books, and treating patients!
In addition, PDN has over 30 full-time academic staff members who contribute to undergraduate teaching.
PDN has expert teams of technical teaching staff in Human Anatomy Centre, in Veterinary Anatomy, in the Physiological Laboratory, and in the Histology classroom. Our professional technical staff create, maintain, repair and catalogue all of our teaching material, and are often on hand to guide students and demonstrators through the practical sessions.
In addition, we have excellent administrative teaching support staff for our Part 1 and Part 2 teaching.
All of the on-line teaching material is available on Moodle. You will need to be registered in order to access this material, and you will also need a Raven password. Please contact teaching-support[at]pdn.cam.ac.uk if you have any query.
