students and demonstrators from the Human Anatomy Centre

A group of students and demonstrators from the Human Anatomy Centre attended the summer scientific meeting of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists on 6 July 2023. This was held at the School of Anatomy, University of Bristol with the theme of "Applied and Functional Anatomy". Four Part II PDN project students gave oral presentations and Lucas Hutchinson (who has just finished Year 4) was awarded the Conrad Lewin Prize for Best Oral Presentation. His talk was on "Developing a novel ultrasound protocol to measure movement of the subscapularis tendon in shoulder abduction". One of our former junior demonstrators, Hannah Bridgwater, was awarded the Prize for Best Poster Presentation for a case report from her current orthopaedic appointment at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
