Congratulations to Aaliyah Razi (Gonville & Caius College), who was honoured at last month’s international annual meeting of the Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI), held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, March 24-28, 2026.
Aaliyah received an award for one of the top 10 scoring abstracts from 1200 submitted. Her work was entitled ‘miR-21-5p Rescues Peripheral Vascular Function in Embryos Exposed to Developmental Hypoxia’.
She gave a talk, received a certificate and a US$ 500 award. The prize was the result of her research in the Giussani Lab, led by Professor Dino Giussani.
Dino is Professor of Developmental Cardiovascular Physiology & Medicine at the University of Cambridge’s Department of Physiology Development & Neuroscience, and a Director of Studies in Medicine at Gonville & Caius College.
