Celebrating the award of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine to Professor Sir Robert Edwards

15 - 16 December 2012 Churchill College, Cambridge CB3 0DS, UK

A conference to celebrate the award of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine to Professor Sir Robert Edwards convened jointly by the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge and Reproductive BioMedicine Online.

This celebratory two-day meeting invites speakers and participants to attempt to capture something of the radical, far-sighted, wide-ranging and challenging spirit of enquiry that has characterized Bob Edwards’ career. A strong focus on the exciting and unconventional is the highest tribute that we can pay to this remarkable man.

The conference will be held on 15 and 16 December 2012 at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, set in the historic and beautiful city of Cambridge.

The scientific programme committee is:
Peter Braude, Graham Burton, Jacques Cohen, Anne Ferguson-Smith, Simon Fishel, Richard Gardner, Gedis Grudzinskas, Colin Howles, Martin Johnson, Andrew Sharkey and Azim Surani
