Congratulations are in order for 2 of Cambridge's Medical Students.
Following the Summer Dissection Course held by the Human Anatomy Centre, students submitted entries to the Institute of Anatomical Sciences Student Dissection Prize. Many excellent works were completed but a special mention goes out to Phedra Kingston, who was awarded Merit in the Category.
An entry was also made to the Institute of Anatomical Sciences Open Competition. Meggie Bunter in turn WON the competition for her work using crochet as a medium to depict the female human reproductive system. This follows on from Meggie receiving a Merit in the Student Dissection Prize the previous year!
Both were judged by some of the top anatomists in the country and were awarded by our very own Teaching Professor of Human Anatomy, Cecilia Brassett, Vice President of the IAS.
Huge congratulations to the two students and may there be more in the future!
