IB Physiology lectures and practicals
This section describes the topics that we
expect to be covering during the present year's course (2011-12); there may
be slight changes if individual lecturers decide to modify the emphasis of
their courses as the year proceeds.
Each term you have three IB Physiology lectures per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9-10 AM (see lecture timetable). In the Lent term, your reproduction lectures are shared with the veterinary students, while in Easter term some of your "Exteme Physiology" lectures are shared with medical students on the Special Options Clinical & Applied Physiology course.
In both the Michaelmas and Lent terms you will have physiology practical classes within the Department of Physiology, Development & Neuroscience. There are currently 12 practical classes, plus a seminar on medical ethics and some revision practicals in the Easter term. See the practical timetable for more.
For those students who are already enrolled in IB Physiology, course handouts can be found on the CamTools website.
