Prof. Graham Burton
Cellular and Systems Physiology
My research group focuses on placental development, and on the
role of oxygen and oxidative stress in regulating gene transcription.
We are also interested in nutrition of the early fetus, and the
roles of the endometrial glands and yolk sac in the supply and
transport of nutrients during the first weeks of human pregnancy.
